Spring is on the wind ~
new babies soon arriving
to play tag with me.

I'm a working cat;
I keep the barns free of mice.
Don't try to pet me.

Golden tree shining
shimmering like an angel ~
like the angel you are.

Ebony dances ~
graceful limbs whirl out to touch
the straight white birches.
~

In north Michigan
the sky a holy presence ~
rain, then stars, then sun.
~

The frozen winter
creates abstract sidewalk art.
Your lens has found it.

Can't see the other
side of the lake ~ it's so big.
I will find my way.

Walk across the dunes
drink in the endless seascape ~
our deep mother lake.
